Jana Kramer became famous on TV, in which she portrayed Alex in the One Tree Hill series' finale for the last three seasons. The show featured her debut releases as country music and helped propel her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. Her decade was rounded out with participation on Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released the self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised on country music. Although she pursued a recording and acting career however, her screen debut was in the horror independent movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school. Through the years Kramer was a regular on a variety of shows, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the regular role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the Second season (2007-2008). Kramer played in 90210 in 2008-2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played the role of Alex Dupre. She remained on the show until the end of 2012 when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer signed a recording contract to Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary love song for country music I Won't Give Up on an episode in 2011 in One Tree Hill. By the middle of 2012, the song was included in her first full-length album Jana Kramer. The song was featured in Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in the Top Five. She continued acting in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. It was boosted by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to third place on the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. Also, it was the year that she scored an adult-contemporary success with her song Feels like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
