Shailene Woodley is an American actress and activist. As a character in The Descendants, she played Alexandra King who was an addict teenager. Following her excellent performance of The Descendants she went on to take on other characters that showcased her talents. Shailene managed to make her mark in the world of Hollywood at a young age during her career, which by itself is an impressive feat. She began her career in commercials and television before moving on to Hollywood films. A number of awards have been taken home by her due to her exceptional acting.
