Dennings had a relationship with Nick Zano her "2 Broke Girls" co-star in the year 2011 until 2014. After the breakup, she then began dating singer Josh Groban. Together they remained until 2016. Dennings and Andrew W.K. met in the early part of 2021. Soon, the couple began being romantically involved. They announced their commitment to each other in the month of May 2021. Dennings has been a huge fan of the singer since 2014. Dennings is Jewish and was raised in the context of a Jewish family. Dennings says that although she has been born Jewish but her faith does not play a major role in her life. Her hobbies include reading, gardening and painting. She was planning to enroll in the art program, however when the entire portfolio of her was damaged by flooding, her plans fell apart. It was an obvious signal that she should pursue acting.
