In the magazine Vanity Fair from July 2003 in which she was featured as one of the top teenage stars of the year. In 2004, Vega produced two short films: Sleepover as well as State's Evidence. The actress starred as an online bully in the Lifetime television film Odd Girl Out the following year. In 2006, she starred in a television film in 2006 called Walkout. In 2007, she wrapped the filming of Remember the Daze which was only made available to limited theaters. She finished filming Repo! The Genetic Opera, which came out in 2008. Aram Rappaport produced and wrote Helix on the set of Chicago. Filming began March of 2008. She was originally cast in this year's Robert Rodriguez film Shorts, however, because of her being situated in Australia during the production of Broken Hill, she had been recast. The film was recast by Kat Dennings. Penny played her Broadway character in Hairspray. Her role as Ruby Gallagher was on the ABC Family TV sitcom Ruby & the Rockits in 2009. The show also featured Patrick Cassidy as well as David David Cassidy, and Patrick Cassidy. Vega is Wick an actor in The Devil's Carnival from 2012 directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. Screenwriter Terrance Zudunich previously worked with Vega in the form of Repo! The Genetic Opera. The film of Vega, The Mine, which was produced in 2010 saw a limited release/screening. Vega voiced Christina in the animated series Unsupervised as well as had a role on Royal Pains. Vega was a character from the age of 13 in the music video to "Legendary child" from Aerosmith. [13]
